I like this one. I think its because of the angles between the two staircases...and how, like you said, they seem to lead to nowhere...

HM, Thank you for your fave and comments of Steps to nowhere. I was near the end of graduate school when I took this. I found it on the school grounds. It felt like the perfect metaphore for the elaborate education I had obtained. Elaborately wrought, leading nowhere.

It depends, of course, on what one is doing as part of the education...I mean, if one wants to go on and study something after that then it may not be leading to nowhere...

wow, this is great. where is this? this picture reminds me so much of the old ruins in Colorado... just the simple beauty of it all.

Hey. Thanks for taking the time to comment. This is on the grounds of the graduate school I went to. I agree with the Colodrado ruins observation. The difference is this was intentional and ghost towns aren't I, personally, like ghost towns better.
