Interests
Much to my surprise everything seems to be working out very well. I'm back in Portland, living in the too cool for it's own good East End in a condo with a water view. I've scrounged desk space in my own building in the corner of a friends office and am shooting locally. Currently in the middle of two weeks of shooting for LLBean in their great Studio 1912 location. But of all the new things happening, probably the most exciting (and challenging) is the final closing of lease negotiations for the armory in South Portland, Maine with the intention of turning it into a sound stage for feature film production. www.pressherald.com/news/movie… .
As you can see by the link there have been many ups and downs on the road to this point. The transition should take between three and five years but the building, to be known as Fore River Sound Stage, should be good to do production in less than a year. One of my favorite things in still shooting is building and shooting on sets. This is that on steroids. Wish us luck!

Somehow your work was adjacent to mine in the new "More Like This" search feature on dA. I could not be more delighted than to have found your work here. Hope you continue to post new works.

Hey ArkyGurl!
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. A vertually new life. Sold the house in the burbs. Moved from the country to the city and dropped internet service in my apartment out of state. All together changed my online activity levels. Very glad to see you are seeing a bit of light in your life. Ironic that we should have started our online friendship when you mom was getting sick. It does make the remaining parts of your life more vivid and precious. Both my parents are gone and it's surprising after all this time how much I still think about them. How is school going? you should be in your last year of 5, no? Any prospects? How is life with your sweetheart. You are a very cute couple. Drop me a line. I wouldn't be offended if you took 7 or 8 weeks to answer to get even 8@)
